48 Laws Of Power
About the Book & the Author
The 48 Laws Of Power a book written by Robert Greene. Which is often viewed as a controversial book. A book which contains 48 laws of attaining power. Every law is powerful . But some are devious laws. Which contains deception etc.. So it's better to avoid some laws and use rest of the laws. Because in some religion and for some individuals it's way too much. Basically I don't like it but most of the laws are good for anyone practicing. Another thing is that the laws explained in this book act as a double edged sword.
By saying that I mean that you can use these laws for your use or to defend yourselves from manipulators who use the same technique to manipulate you. Now let's talk about the design of the book and how everything is arranged inside this masterpiece.
Arrangement Of Contents
When explaining a law there is observance of the law and it's interpretation and transgression of law and it's interpretation , sometimes there is more than 1 observance and transgression. Observance and transgression are examples from history. After those there is Keys to Power , which is a summary of the law, explaining the key points to be taken into account. After this there is Image & Authority , image is an example from daily life or things in our surroundings. Whereas authority is a quote related to that law and is mostly from famous persons from history or from books. And at the end there is reversal , reversal means sometimes this law is not applicable to form as it is said. You need to act mere opposite of what the law tells. This is also a technique of acquiring power.
